Amish Friendship Cinnamon Bread

I can remember when Amish Friendship Bread Starter Recipe was the rage for quite some time back in the day and everyone was doing it. It’s been a long time since I’ve went back in time to actually repeat the starter recipe and bake some goodies.

Amish friendship bread is often referred to as the chain letter of baking. A sourdough starter, together with a recipe for a cake-like bread, is passed on from one friend to another. You use a portion of the starter for your own friendship bread, and then pass it along to others.
