Seriously, you have to make this chocolate pudding fudge cake recipe!  It’s easy, it’s magical, it’s to-die-for!

Also called Chocolate Cobbler, Hot Fudge Pudding Cake, Hot Fudge Sundae Cake, Hot Fudge Cake, Brown Pudding or you can just call it “Chocolate Heaven in a Bowl”.

It’s been around for a long time, but it needs to be represented here on the Chocolate blog for sure.  Just too delicious not to make and share!

I have a feeling I’ll be making this again real soon, as it was devoured in no time by two people in my home. I’ll keep the names of those involved “confidential”. 🙂

Chocolate Fudge Pudding Cake

Ingredients You Need

How to Make Chocolate Fudge Pudding Cake 

  1. Add and stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, 3 tablespoons of the cocoa, and ¾ cup of the white sugar. Reserve the remaining cocoa and sugar for the pudding.
  2. Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla to the flour mixture and mix until smooth. Pour into an ungreased 8-inch baking dish.
  3. In another separate small bowl, mix the remaining ½ cup white sugar, brown sugar, and remaining 4 tablespoons of cocoa and sprinkle this mixture evenly over the cake batter.
  4. Pour the hot tap water over all. BUT…DO NOT STIR!
  5. Bake @ 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until the center is set.
  6. Let stand for a few minutes.
  7. Serve with homemade ice cream using the gooey sauce to spoon over all.
