Is there anything better than warm, OMG-so-heavenly, decadent Chocolate Fudge Pudding Cake? This easy rich, decadent fudge chocolate cake recipe creates a magical soft pudding as this chocolate dessert bakes.

Seriously, you have to make this chocolate pudding fudge cake recipe! It’s easy, it’s magical, it’s to-die-for!
Also called Chocolate Cobbler, Hot Fudge Pudding Cake, Hot Fudge Sundae Cake, Hot Fudge Cake, Brown Pudding or you can just call it “Chocolate Heaven in a Bowl”.
It’s been around for a long time, but it needs to be represented here on the Chocolate blog for sure. Just too delicious not to make and share!

Ingredients You Need
- All-purpose Flour
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- Cocoa Powder
- Granulated Sugar
- Milk of choice
- Butter
- Vanilla Extract
- Brown Sugar
- Hot Tap Water
How to Make Chocolate Fudge Pudding Cake
- Add and stir together the flour, baking powder, salt, 3 tablespoons of the cocoa, and ¾ cup of the white sugar. Reserve the remaining cocoa and sugar for the pudding.
- Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla to the flour mixture and mix until smooth. Pour into an ungreased 8-inch baking dish.
- In another separate small bowl, mix the remaining ½ cup white sugar, brown sugar, and remaining 4 tablespoons of cocoa and sprinkle this mixture evenly over the cake batter.
- Pour the hot tap water over all. BUT…DO NOT STIR!
- Bake @ 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until the center is set.
- Let stand for a few minutes.
- Serve with homemade ice cream using the gooey sauce to spoon over all.

- 1-¼ cup Sugar Divided
- ½ cups milk of choice
