We went for a fall vibe and added apples! For the apple choice, I love those Granny Smith apples when it comes to baking, but feel free to add in your favorite apple flavor to these blondie brownies or leave them out. It’s whatever your little heart desires. Don’t they look scrumptious?

Ingredients for Copycat Applebee’s Blondies Brownies
- all-purpose flour
- baking powder
- baking soda
- salt
- butter
- brown sugar
- eggs
- vanilla extract
- Granny Smith Apples
- white chocolate chips
- walnuts or pecans
- maple syrup
- cream cheese
- maple extract or maple flavoring
Instructions How to Make Copycat Applebee’s Blondie Brownies
Maple Walnut Blondie brownie recipe
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Brownies
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter, add brown sugar, and mix well.
- Add egg and vanilla and mix well.
- Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to wet mixture.
- Stir apples, nuts and white chocolate chips into the batter.
- Pour into a 9-inch greased square pan and bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
- While brownies are baking, make the sauce.
Maple Cream Sauce
- In a medium saucepan, combine maple syrup and butter, cook over low heat until butter is melted. Stir in brown sugar until dissolved and remove from heat. Beat in cream cheese and maple extract until smooth.
To dish Maple Walnut Blondie
- Place a heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream on the warm brownie and drizzle with sauce and additional walnuts if desired. Nothing better!
