How to Make Caramel Apples
- Press a craft stick into the top. Butter or place parchment paper down on a large baking sheet.
- Place caramels and milk/cream in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave 2 minutes or until melted, stirring halfway through the mixture to loosen it up.
- Roll each apple in caramel sauce until well coated.
How to Melt Chocolate for Apples & Adding Some Bling!
- You melt the chocolate, basically the same way you melted the caramel, except stir the chocolate every 30 seconds until completely melted, for approximately 2 minutes.
- Melt choices of chocolate you want to use from semi-sweet, white chocolate, milk chocolate or colored candy melts if you want to make a statement! Put leftover chocolate into a ziplok bag or pastry bag and use it for fancy swirls or drips on your caramel apples!
- Dip apples one at a time in the melted chocolate, then add choices of bling to the sides in a timely fashion before the chocolate firms up, so everything sticks to your chocolate covered caramel apples.
- Place each decorated apple on parchment paper and place apples in fridge for 5-10 minutes to set up faster.
Bling Pro Tip: You will have to work fast adding the bling, once you dip the apple in chocolate. Have everything ready to sprinkle on apples, by using paper plates underneath when coating apples with bling to help not make a mess. Add the bigger pieces on by hand. If the bling isn’t sticking, use the melted chocolate like a glue.

- After I make my blinged out apples, I usually cut slices out of the apple and eat a few slices to get my sweet fix and then place the rest of the apple back in the fridge until the next time I get that sweet craving.
