GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST

How to Make Graham Cracker Butterscotch Pudding Dessert
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST
- In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter together.
- Press the mixture into an 8×8, 9×9 or 9×13 dish. Flatten the mixture using the bottom of a flat glass. Place in the freezer for 30 minutes.
CREAM CHEESE LAYER
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar using a hand mixer. Fold in 8 ounces of Cool Whip. Spread over graham cracker crust.
BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING LAYER
- Combine the milk and pudding mix and whisk together for 1 to 2 minutes, or until smooth and thickened. See option for 9×13 pan in recipe for doubling butterscotch pudding.
- Pour over cream cheese layer.
TOPPINGS
- Spread remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with toffee bits, chopped Butterfinger bars, shaved chocolate, salted caramel or butterscotch sauce drizzled on top
- Refrigerate for several hours before serving.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator if any are to be had! 🙂

- Keep this butterscotch cream cheese dessert in the refrigerator before and after it’s served.
- Simply cover the dish with plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container and store it in the refrigerator for three to five days.
Tips
- Make sure your cream cheese is at room temperature. Room temperature allows you to whip it easier and lump-free.
- Whisk your pudding and milk together really well so it’s creamy and mixed well.
- Chill this graham cracker butterscotch pudding dessert for several hours before serving or overnight. It also allows it to thicken and makes it easier to cut into slices.
- You have the option of making your own freshly whipped cream, but we went with Cool Whip because it was easy and already prepared. If you do use heavy whipping cream, you’ll need a total of 2 cups + 1/2 cup powdered sugar to stabilize it to get the right texture. Whip it until it becomes like whipped cream texture.
- We added toffee bits sprinkled on top, but some salted caramel sauce on top or some shaved chocolate would taste absolutely dreamy!

Easy Butterscotch Pudding Layered Dessert
Ingredients
GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs or cookie crumbs for 9x13 pan, double graham cracker recipe if desired if you want a thicker crust.
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
CREAM CHEESE LAYER
- 16 ounces cream cheese softened
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 8 ounces Cool Whip
PUDDING LAYER
- 1 ¾ cup milk can also double butterscotch pudding layer by using 3 1/4 cups of milk for 9x13 pan
- 3.4 ounces instant butterscotch pudding can double butterscotch pudding layer by using 2 3.4 ounces instant butterscotch pudding for 9x13 pan
TOPPINGS
- 8 ounces Cool Whip add 4 ounces more for 9x13 pan if desired.
- Topping Choices: Toffee bits chopped Butterfinger bars, shaved chocolate, salted caramel or butterscotch sauce drizzled on top
