- Pour the mixture into a pie plate or springform pan. Use the bottom of a clean measuring cup to press the crumbs firmly into the bottom and sides of the pan, molding them into a crust shape. If using a pie plate, press the crumbs up the sides with your fingers or use a measuring cup to press the crumbs into the pan.
