Ingredients You Need

- ⅓ cup agave syrup, honey or maple syrup, can use sugar-free maple syrup as well.
- ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 3 – 3 1/2 cups sweetened Quinoa puffed cereal or any cereal you like, like rice krispies, Chex, Cheerios, etc. Use enough cereal to coat with the peanut butter mixture.
- optional: sea salt
Chocolate Topping
- 1 cup dairy-free white chocolate milk or dark chocolate chips or bar or any chocolate you wish to use if you don’t want dairy-free option
Instructions How to Make Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bars

- Grease an 8-inch or 9-inch baking dish by lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside. (Can also line with parchment paper for easier removal.)
- Melt the coconut oil and add to a large bowl with the agave/maple syrup and peanut butter and mix together. Add cereal and mix all together making sure all of the cereal coated well.
- Transfer cereal mixture to prepared pan. Place in freezer for 10 minutes to set.
Chocolate Topping
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between each increment until just melted and smooth.
- Using a tablespoon or large spoon or place melted chocolate in a pastry bag, drizzle chocolate on top of cereal layer.
- Place treats in fridge or freeze and let chocolate peanut butter mixture set for 5-10 minutes or place in fridge for 30-40 minutes to set.
- Once the treats are set, transfer them to the fridge for 30 minutes or until solid enough to cut and keep them in the fridge, so they stay solid and crunchy! YUM! When ready to serve, slice into bars. Place remaining peanut butter quinoa treats back in the fridge in an airtight container.
