This Healthy Reese’s Ice Cream is a wonderful soft-serve peanut butter and chocolate ice cream delight, without all the calories and guilt!  It tastes so rich and flavorful, it’s hard to believe it’s healthy at all!

You can literally be eating this soft serve Reese’s Ice Cream in less 5 minutes!

This is such a yummy version of Reese’s peanut butter cups ice cream that you can feel good about eating. 

Only three ingredients, unless you want to add in some peanut butter cups.  So beware if you add those in, especially if you add too  many? 

So, how much is too many? 🙂

For this recipe, all that is required is frozen bananas, peanut butter and cocoa powder and blend away! 

  1. 3 Ripe Bananas frozen chunks
  2. Unsweetened Cocoa powder
  3. Peanut Butter,  or for a twist, add your favorite nut butter or Nutella
  4. Optional:  Add in some sugar-free Peanut Butter Cups or some mini Reese’s Peanut butter cups if desired.

How to make Healthy Reese’s Ice Cream

  1. Put frozen banana chunks into blender or food processor.
  2. Blend bananas for about 3 minutes in food processor or 5 minutes in blender until smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
  3. Once smooth and creamy, add cocoa powder & peanut butter and blend again until well combined.
  4. Serve immediately for soft serve style healthy peanut butter ice cream or place in freezer for a few minutes to firm up.
  5. Enjoy your soft serve Reese’s Ice Cream!
  6. Optional: Add some chopped up Reese Cups if you want some extra flava!

Ingredients

Notes

  • If you want to add in additional flavors like vanilla extract, Nutella, or chocolate, I would recommend adding the ingredients in before blending.
  • Chocolate chips, candies, granola or fruit bits should be added after the bananas are blended.
  • Once blended, serve immediately for a soft-serve ice cream. You can firm it back up in the freezer for a few minutes.
  • Overnight in the freezer, it will turn into frozen ice cream. Set at room temperature until it starts to soften if you want soft-serve and enjoy!
