Instructions How To Make Holiday White Chocolate Marshmallow Fudge
- Line a 10x7x2 or an 8×8 dish or pan with wax paper or parchment paper.
- In a deep bowl, add white chocolate and heat in the microwave until it melts. Make sure to mix with a spatula every 30 seconds to prevent the chocolate from burning.
- Add in warmed up condensed milk and mix until smooth. The condensed milk should be warm, for easier mixing and smoothness of the fudge. Just microwave it for 15-20 seconds, not boiling hot.
- Add in marshmallows, quickly stir.
- Add in 1/4 cup m&m’s and toss around quickly and not a lot. M&M’s will melt, so you don’t want to overmix to keep the fudge mostly white looking.

- Toss some sprinkles and m&m’s on top of the fudge.
- Chill in the fridge for at 3 hours or overnight until the fudge is firm for slicing.
Storing Fudge and Serving/Gifting
- Fridge: Store fudge in an airtight container for up to 2-3 weeks in the fridge.
- Freeze: Freeze fudge for up to three months in the freezer. To thaw, you can leave it in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for a few hours before serving.
- Gifting: Place sliced fudge in pretty decorative boxes or tins and give a homemade gift to friends and family for the holidays!
- Party-Time: Serve this holiday party fudge on pretty platters or charcuterie type boards with other Christmas cookies, bars and candies!
Christmas Fudge Recipe Tips & Variations
- Use high quality ingredients: When preparing this holiday fudge recipe, it’s best to make sure you use high quality white chocolate to get the best taste and texture. You can use any premium white chocolate bar, chips or melting wafers. If white chocolate isn’t your thing, you can always change to dark or milk chocolate, right?
- When measuring chocolate chips from ounces to cups: The easiest conversion to remember is that 1 cup of chocolate chips equals 6 ounces. This means that a 12-ounce bag of chocolate chips is the equivalent of 2 cups. You might also like using Ghirardelli’s white chocolate melting wafers, chocolate chips or white chocolate bars.
- Melting chocolate: Melt white chocolate in the microwave, stop every 30 seconds and mix everything with a spatula and then reheat again. Do this until the chocolate has fully melted.
- Pro Tip for Smooth Fudge: Heat condensed milk in microwave 20 seconds or so, so that it’s warm but not boiling hot. This helps the chocolate and condensed milk blend together more smoothly and evenly in this white chocolate fudge recipe.
- Other Variations: Feel free to get creative and use whatever add-ins you like. Add in some dried cranberries, pistachios, pecans, walnuts, dried or maraschino cherries, crushed peppermint candies and you could even color it with an oil-based candy coloring if you want to snazz it up!
- Easily double or triple this recipe: Using a ratio of 4:1 ratio for chocolate and the sweetened condensed milk: 4 cups chocolate and 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk.
This irresistible melt-in-your-mouth holiday white chocolate fudge recipe will impress your friends and family for the holidays for sure! Plus, it’s super easy to make!
