See notes about pan sizes, if you’re interested in using for a pie of layered dessert. Use the adjustable servings tab in the recipe to adjust servings needed. Top it off with some fresh berries or as is.
It’s very pretty to use a pastry bag and star tip to pipe the dessert into ramekins or cute glass cups for presentation purposes.
What is Lakanto?
The powdered sugar we used was Lakanto. It’s the perfect sugar-free substitution for powdered sugar for all your frostings and cheesecakes.
I love using Lakanto’s Powdered Sugar. I talk about their line of products all the time, and if you are looking for any healthy sugars, (white, brown and powdered). If you don’t care about the sugar-free option, use regular powdered sugar in place. It will taste amazing either way. I promise you!

So glad you love it Janet! We love lemon too! Thank you so much for your feedback!
We love this recipe. It fits into our Keto plan perfectly. I add the zest of the two lemons because I love anything lemon. Thank you for this keeper!
I don’t see why not? You could substitute lime or even orange for that matter! It’s soo good!
Looks fantastic! Can limes also be used in place of lemons?
TIA!
Exactly! You can layer it with graham crackers or cookies or whatever you wish to give it some extra yumminess! Thank you Shauwan!!
This is EASY and light! My non-keto eaters ask for this for dessert but put graham crackers at the bottom of their bowl.
Tart/sweet/creamy and cheesecakey? Yes please! This hits all the notes for me, kim! Love how simple and tasty it is!
Thank you so much Catherine! Keto tastes just as good without the sugar! 😉 Thank you for pinning!!
I just love this lemon mousse Kim, it looks so rich, smooth + delicious!! ! I’m excited that it’s keto because I am going to feel no guilt when I devour it, pinning this now!
Agree, I made a dessert with it that I’ll be posting soon, and yes trifles, etc are amazing with it! Thank you so much Ben! Hope you had an awesome Easter!
I love all tart and zesty things, so this luscious dessert is right for me! Also, this got me thinking that it could easily be transformed into a trifle or Eton Mess, just with the addition of meringues and lemon curd.
