  1. I am going to try this, it sounds exactly like a recipe I made from a cook book from the early 90’s. it just was made in the rectangle shape and cutting the edges into strips that folded over to the middle. It is super easy and delicious.

  2. I’m so glad you like the recipe Jennie! I do the exact same thing and use them as a base for so many additions! I hope you find more recipes here that you love just as much! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! xo

  3. Just found your site as I was searching fir new chocolate chip cookie recipe. Your Perfect Chocolate Chip cookie recipe is one of the best I have ever made, I used it just as written but I will also use it sometime as my base for adding other ingredients such as nuts and dried cherries. Looking forward to trying more of your recipes. Thank you!

  4. Oh wow Kim, if I could eat gluten I wouldn’t be able to stop eating these!! They look amazing and such a fabulous summer treats with the lemon and cream cheese! Your photos are so amazing, I can’t stop drooling! haha And that glaze..wow!!! Incredible. I would so love one (or 4) of these with my afternoon coffee! 😀

  5. This is such a delicious looking ring Kim. I would be totally licking my fingers clean:) The flaky crescent layers with tangy lemon cream cheese glaze will not even last few hours in my home:)

  6. The combination of cream cheese and lemon is so lovely. I love tart flavors, but at the same time, I do like how cream cheese balances it out a bit. 24 hours? Well, I believe it would have only lasted like 12 hours, and there’s only two of us here 🙂
