M&M Marshmallow Bars are so festive and delightful for Spring and Summer fun! Bite into glorious puffy, gooey marshmallows smothered in chocolate and topped with pastel candy coated chocolate M&M candies. So fun to eat and delicious!
These M&M Marshmallow Bars are so easy too make!
They come together super quick just by microwaving the chocolate, peanut butter chips or butterscotch chips and then by adding in the marshmallows and tossing them around until they are coated.
Add the mixture to your prepared pan and top with the pastel M&M’s and let the chocolate firm up before cutting and serving! Seriously, this takes 5 minutes to pull it all together to get super yummy gooey, marshmallow candy.
They are easily customizable, no bake, no fuss and everyone loves them!
They are the perfect treat for holidays, parties and get togethers, or just as a quick chocoholic snack. What a wonderful way to bring on Spring! Of course, we think they would be so cute in Easter baskets too or your Easter party tray or both! Why not?
There’s only 4 ingredients in these amazing m&m’s marshmallow dream bars, unless you want to add a little extra 1/4 cup peanut butter, which I included in recipe below!
We used some butterscotch chips (or peanut butter chips) to give the semi-sweet chocolate chips a nice mellow flavor. The rest of the ingredients includes fluffy marshmallows and M&Ms! That’s all folks!
Storing & Serving M&M Marshmallow Bars
- Serve: You should store your M&M Marshmallow Bars in a cool place or fridge in an airtight container, zip-lock or wrapped in plastic wrap. As you know, chocolate will melt if in a warm, hot place.
- Store: M&M Marshmallow Bars will stay fresh in the fridge for about 4 days for best results. Just pull them out when you’re ready to serve or snack!
- Freeze: M&M Marshmallow Bars are good frozen for up to about 3 months, and they are delicious straight out of the freezer. In order to keep them from sticking together, layer them between some parchment paper or wax paper so that they don’t stick.
If you have leftover pastel M&M‘s, you may want to bake up some of these Easter M&M Chocolate Chip Blondies or make some Fudgy Chocolate Chunk Brownies and add them in or use your favorite cookie recipe!

What are you doing Kim?! I have eaten way too much all those Easter-themed M&MS and mini chocolate eggs, as a part of recipes and just like straight from the package! (Well, mostly the second way.) And another lovely and easy dessert? So bright, so positive, so delicious!
They’re so pretty and colorful, Kim! My kiddos would love these for Easter. And its a fun project to do with them too!
