  3. I just made these and they are soooo good! The only thing was that they were slightly salty, so i think next time i may omit some of the salt, but other than that they were so delicious!

  4. Made these over the weekend for my family and they just devoured them. Making them again today for a care package. LOVE LOVE LOVE your recipes. Thanks so much for sharing them!

  5. Hi Emily! These are my husband’s favorite cookies!! I’m so glad you found the recipe though!!! YAY! Thanks so much for the 5 star rating!! Happy Holidays!!

  6. Oh man I made a bunch of cookies using two different recipes I printed out back in February but threw the sheets out. One batch came out the BEST (the other not so much) I had ever had, but I could not for the life of me find the recipe again using the same search criteria on Google and my history wasn’t logged so I thought the recipe was lost forever. I figured out that Google actually keeps a separate search history and THANK GOD because I am 100% certain this is the one from back then! These cookies are A M A Z I N G and I’ll be making them for forever. Perfectly crunchy and crisp on the edges and wonderfully chewy throughout. Thanks so much :^)

  7. Followed the recipe exact except Instead of water I added milk.
It was perfect crisp and so delicious.

It does puff up 5min before it’s ready to come out of oven. But it does flatten afterwards.

    Loved it!
    Will definitely make it again!

    Thanks for sharing… ?

  8. So I’m back to report that the cookies ifade with applesauce instead of eggs are just as awesome. I made them a little too big and some got smushed together but super tasty nonetheless. Thank you for this awesome recipe!! You rock!

  9. Hi Stella, I haven’t tried it, but the substitution is one-fourth cup applesauce for one egg. If you try it, please come back and let us know how they turned out.

  10. I made these cookies for my daughter’s birthday party and everybody loved them. Great recipe.

  11. Betty, Thank you! These are my husband’s all time favorite chocolate chip cookie besides the mini m&m chocolate chip cookie on the blog! 🙂 So glad you are enjoying them!!!

  12. Hi!! omg, I love these cookies. I have tried several recipes….came up with my own “perfect” thin and crispy CCC. But I love yours much better. It is indeed the perfect cookie. I cant stop eating them.

  13. I’ve made these a few times and my husband and 3yr old loved them….this is my favorite cookie recipe ! I’m making some more tonight lol…
Thanks so much and I never do comments but I had too on this one !

  14. Claire, I’m so sorry, but I am glad you commented, so with your feedback, I’ve updated that the butter should be room-temperature and to cream the butter and sugars for 3-4 minutes. I am thinking your butter was either too cold, over-whipped on the creaming or had a tad too much flour. Thank you for not giving up! 🙂 Happy Holidays!

  15. lol I think I did something wrong, my ended up being the complete opposite? Thick and chewy with a biscuit like consistency. I’ll try again later, these look too good to give up on!

  16. I just made these! OMG! These need to come with a HUGE warning “YOU MAY GAIN 10 POUNDS!” I’m currently eating my fourth cookie right now, I’m standing so I’m hoping that will help with the calorie burning. Okay, I just swallowed, and I’m contemplating my fifth! Thank you for sharing!!!
