Ingredients for the Turtle Fudge
Fudge Layer
- butter
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- brown sugar
- milk
- confectioners’ sugar
- vanilla extract
Salted Pecan Caramel Layer
- caramels
- water
- pecans
- sea salt
Salted Chocolate Layer
- semisweet chocolate chips
- milk chocolate chips
- sea salt
How to Make Salted Chocolate & Caramel Pecan Turtle Fudge

Spray an 8″ baking pan with non-stick spray and set aside.
Fudge Layer

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the butter, cocoa powder, brown sugar and milk and microwave on high until mixture boils, for approximately 2 minutes.

Add in confectioners’ sugar and vanilla and stir until combined and pour into baking pan and spread out evenly. Place in fridge until set enough to add salted pecan caramel layer.
Salted Pecan Caramel Layer
- In another microwave-safe bowl, heat caramels and water on high for 1-¼ minutes or until melted.
- Stir pecans into caramel and stir until combined; add a couple of pinches of sea salt.
- Spread on top of fudge layer. Place in fridge until cooled enough for chocolate layer.
Salted Chocolate Layer

Microwave chocolate chips on high for 30 seconds or until melted. Spread over caramel layer with back of spoon.

Add a couple of pinches of sea salt. (I sprinkled then mixed it into the chocolate with the back of spoon.

Chill until firm. Cut into small squares.

When the salted caramel thing was first,like,everywhere,I did NOT get it. But, I have always enjoyed pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate, then in seasonal sprinkles. Who doesn’t? right?
