Soft Serve Banana Nice Cream is a healthy banana ice cream whipped into a delicious creamy, soft-serve custard-like texture. So nice, it’s made with frozen bananas, this soft-serve banana nice cream is vegan, egg-less, dairy-free, sugar-free and about as healthy as you can get when it comes to tasty frozen treats!
Woohoo! No ice cream maker needed, so there’s no waiting for it to freeze! All you need is a blender or food processor and frozen bananas.
Ingredients You Need for Healthy Banana Ice Cream
- 2 -3 ripe bananas, frozen chunks
- optional: dairy-free milk of choice, if you want extra creamy
If the bananas are super frozen, you may have to add a little almond milk, coconut milk or any dairy-free milk you want like you would a smoothie. I also think it gives it a little more creamier texture, which I’m all in for! You could also let the frozen bananas sit a few minutes before blending.
This healthy banana ice cream is best if eaten after it’s made or the same day as it’s made. If you do freeze, just make sure you let the ice cream soften up a bit before eating, because it will be hard to dip.
How to Make it Soft Serve Banana Nice Cream
- Put frozen banana chunks into blender or food processor.
- Blend bananas for about 3 minutes in food processor or 5 minutes in blender until smooth, scraping down sides as needed. This mixture is the PERFECT soft serve ice cream.
- Enjoy your whipped soft serve banana dessert!
Add-Ins & Tips
- If you want to add in additional flavors like peanut butter, Nutella, unsweetened chocolate powder, you can add it with the frozen bananas or after you’ve blended the bananas. Either way is ok, but I usually make the soft serve, then add in my goodies.
- The exception to this, would be if you’re adding other frozen fruits like strawberries, mangos or blueberries. Since they are already frozen, it makes sense to add them in with the bananas.
- Any fruits or flavors you add will ultimately take over the flavor of your nice cream.
- The banana soft serve is not overwhelming in intense banana flavor, so that’s why other add-ins become the star attractions!
- Chocolate chips, peanut butter cups, sprinkles, candies, granola or ice cream toppings should definitely be added after the bananas are blended.
- Once blended, serve it right away for a soft-serve ice cream. You can firm it back up in the freezer for a few minutes. Overnight in the freezer, it will turn into hard ice cream. If this happens, just set at room temperature until it starts to soften and enjoy!
This is the perfect healthy banana ice cream for the sweet cravings! 100% raw, vegan, dairy free, sugar-free, gluten-free, egg-less, healthy, low calorie & low fat!
Once you try this soft-serve banana nice cream, I guarantee you’ll want to make it over and over again! Now quit monkeying around and make this! Here’s the Soft Serve Banana Nice Cream recipe! Enjoy! xoxo
