Strawberry Explosion Cheesecake Trifle Desserts are layers of fluffy, dreamy clouds of cheesecake whipped cream, fresh, ripened, juicy strawberries and fluffy white cake boasts an elegant dessert, that’s a sure show-stopper for summer-time.

We’ve basically got Strawberry Shortcake on steroids…not real steroids! It’s the pumped up Strawberry Shortcake version, ok? It’s like a big, fat Strawberry Cheesecake Explosion of pure yumminess in your mouth! Soooo luscious!!
Ingredients for Strawberry Explosion Cheesecake Trifle Desserts
- white cake (use a white cake mix or your favorite white cake, baked in a 9×13 pan, already prepared and cut into cubes)
- cream cheese
- confectioners’ sugar
- heavy whipping cream
- strawberries
- Optional: Strawberry Chocolate or Caramel Sauce drizzle
How to Make Strawberry Explosion Cheesecake Trifle Desserts
- In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped cream.
- Using 4-6 individual dessert glasses, do a layer of cake cubes, then strawberries, then the cheesecake whipped cream mixture. Repeat layers.
- Top with some strawberries and a small dollop of cheesecake whipped cream.
- Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
- Drizzle with Strawberry, Chocolate or Caramel Sauce if desired.
Other Options
- Now you know, you can always change up the cake with whatever you have handy, if you want. You could use white pound, yellow, angel food or even chocolate cake.
- Want more richness? For an added layer of drizzles of chocolate, caramel or strawberry sauce on top and in between layers.
- For the cake, bake in a 9×13 pan or 2 8″ rounds.
- To get pretty swirls, you can pipe the cheesecake whipped cream using a pastry bag for the elegant look or just spoon it on for the rustic look. Either way it will taste the same, right?
- Add 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or lemon juice to the cheesecake whipped cream for some extra burst of flavor.
- For a little more creaminess, add ¼ cup of milk to the cheesecake mixture.

Strawberry Explosion Cheesecake Trifle Desserts

- 1 package cream cheese 8 ounces, softened
- ¼ cup confectioners' sugar

I love this idea I am doing my son’s rehearsal dinner and it is June30 wich is perfect time for strawberries .so this dessert is perfect.the wine glasses add a perfect touch and going by what everyone is saying everyone will love this dessert.

How many servings does the recipe make? In the body of the recipe it says 4-6 dessert glasses but at the end of the recipe it states that it yields 12-14 servings. Which is it: 4-6 or 12-14?
