After the holidays, use your leftover candy and make a fun and decadent Leftover Candy Cookie Pie! Transform those yummy candies into a decadent treat with cookie dough! Voila... Scrumptious Cookie Pie Heaven!
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a 9-inch pie dish very well with non-stick cooking spray, set aside,
Place butter in microwaveable bowl and microwave until melted, about a minute.
Let butter cool a minute or two and then, add the sugars, egg and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
Add the flour, salt, and baking soda and continue whisking until combined, without overmixing.
Stir in most of the m&m's except what you are adding on top, along with the chocolate chips to the cookie batter
Turn batter out into prepared pie dish, smoothing the top lightly with a spatula.
Add your candies into the batter, pushing them down level with the dough, then add the remaining M&M's to the top of the batter as well.
Bake for about 25 to 28 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out mostly clean, or with a few moist crumbs, but no batter. If you prefer a more well-done cookie pie, bake a few minutes longer.
Allow pie to cool in dish for at least 30 minutes before slicing and serving. To decorate, use my Easy Buttercream Frosting!
