Ingredients
29ouncecan of peach slices or halves cut in halfdrain juice off or cut 2 medium peaches into 4 wedges, you can peel them or opt not to peel them
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Separate the crescent dough into 8 triangles and pat them out a little bigger before adding the peach wedges.
Place a peach wedge near the large end of the dough triangle, then roll up. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter. Into the melted butter, stir in brown sugar, vanilla and cinnamon. Pour over the tops of all the dumplings.
Pour the soda to the sides of the dumplings and make sure it’s not over the top of the dumplings, we want the butter mixture to not wash off, that way you'll get a nice golden crust on top.
Bake until golden brown and peaches are tender when pierced with a fork, about 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and let stand 10 minutes, while the sauce thickens up.
Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or great alone!
